To be admitted to a German University and enter into a Bachelor of Science Degree Program, you must have completed a secondary education at a level equivalent to the German 'Abitur', i.e. the German High School Diploma. For a Master of Science Degree Program, a graduate qualification, usually Bachelor Degree is required. Since courses are held in English, you must have passed the TOEFL examination with a minimum of 100 points.
In order to bring all students up to a uniform level as quickly as possible, intensive courses in English will be held during the first two terms.
Basic knowledge of German eases integration into general student life on campus, but is not a prerequisite for admission to the degree courses.
From the second term, the ancillary courses will be held in German. Intensive courses in German (6 hours per week) will be held to prepare you for these.
Please note that the first internship will take place at a German company, so some basic German will ease the mutual understanding.
